While we are happy to be back in the clinic and seeing our patients in person, virtual care has now become an important part of our new reality. Since the start of the pandemic, we have been able to see thousands of patients from across the province via virtual consultations and provide equally efficient, accurate and compassionate care. Do I need a referral to book a virtual consultation?
You still need a referral from your family doctor to book a virtual consultation with one of our board-certified dermatologists. If you don't have a family doctor, please get in touch with us, and we can book you in to see one of our on-site family doctors.
What do I need for a virtual consultation?
We are providing two options. You can do it over a remote video consultation for which you will need a device with a camera. You can also elect to do it over the phone by sending us photos showing the areas of your symptoms and concerns prior to the consultation.
How do I book a virtual consultation?
When you click the link below, you will be brought to our secure portal page, Medeo. On that page, you can securely choose a physician, appointment type and time. You will also be able to input your information and the reason for your request. Once our staff sees this, they will accept your request and you will receive a confirmation email from Medeo indicating the acceptance of your request. You will also receive a second email inviting you for a virtual appointment. Please make sure you accept this invitation before you scheduled appointment date and time.
What happens after I submit my request for a virtual consultation?
You will be contacted by our staff member via email to set up secure messaging via portal Medeo. If you don't hear back from us in two business days then please check your junk mailbox as emails may have ended up in there. Once you have received the email, please click on the link to receive and submit information securely.
