Meet Dr. Anastasiya Muntyanu
She completed her medical education at the University of Ottawa, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Toronto. Currently pursuing a PhD, Dr. Muntyanu's research explores environmental triggers in autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, systemic sclerosis, and atopic dermatitis. With over 40 publications in high-impact journals, including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Lancet, Dr. Muntyanu's research has received international recognition. She has presented her work at numerous national and international conferences and has been honored with awards from prestigious institutions, including the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Canadian Dermatology Association, and American Dermato-Epidemiology Network. During her residency, she earned both the Resident Leadership Award and Resident Teaching Award from the Canadian Dermatology Association.
Dr. Muntyanu's clinical interests span medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, with a focus on psoriasis, eczema, systemic sclerosis and morphea, and skin cancer. She brings a research-driven approach to her practice, ensuring patients benefit from the latest advancements in dermatology.
